Playa Provisions: Beachside Culinary Delights at Playa Del Rey

Absolutely incredible, we used to frequent The Triple; a restaurant owned by the same chef (has since closed). Found out she opened this location and serves the clams pesto, a favorite dish loved by my entire family. Our experience was unforgettable. Would highly recommend! We had the fish tacos too and they were yummmm!!!! Bon appetite

We came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it was not too busy but definitely seems like a popular place to eat. We ordered at the counter and then we were able to seat ourselves and choose a place to sit. We ordered the Reuben sandwich and the lobster seafood roll. Both were one of the best sandwiches we had and were so delicious. The Reuben didn’t seem like a traditional Reuben but had their own twist which we loved. We are definitely coming back and excited to try more but would be hard to not reorder the same sandwiches because of how amazing they were.

Laid-back beach vibes, relaxed restaurant. Friendly staff, excellent food, good service. We ordered the fish tacos and the corned beef sandwich. Both delicious. Nice relaxing music played during our lunchtime visit.

we had a great dinner here. arrived during happy hour, ordered some starters and drinks off the menu, and also ordered off the main dinner menu. everything was fresh and delicious. highly recommend the scallop, crab claw lollipop, and ciopinno. kid friendly as well - kids menu available with crayons to draw on it.

It was gluten-free and hands down the best banana bread I’ve ever had—moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The bacon was also a standout—crispy, delicious, and reasonably priced, which is rare these days. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a quiet morning bite or a spot to soak in positive vibes and great food, Playa Provisions is a place I’ll be returning to again and again.

The bay scallop and tiger shrimp ceviche was another highlight—fresh, vibrant, and refreshing. It had a clean, healthy feel, and the addition of diced mango introduced a subtle sweetness that elevated the dish and added an extra layer of flavor. Both dishes were served cold, which worked perfectly for the seaside setting. Overall, Playa Provisions delivers great ambiance, attentive service, and thoughtfully prepared seafood.
